REFUND POLICY

  1. Any monies due the applicant or student shall be refunded within 30 days of official cancellation or withdrawal. Official cancellation or withdrawal shall occur on the earlier of the dates that
    • An applicant is not accepted by the school. The applicant shall be entitled to a refund of all monies paid.
    • A student (or in the case of a student under legal age, his/her parent of guardian) cancels his/her contract and demands his/her money back in writing within three business days of the signing of the enrollment agreement or contract. In this case all monies collected by the school shall be refunded.  This policy applies regardless of whether or not the student has actually started training.
    • A student cancels his/her contract after three business days after signing, but prior to entering classes. In this case he/she shall be entitled to a refund of all monies paid.
    • A student notifies the institution of his/her withdrawal;
    • A student on an approved leave of absence notifies the school that he/she will not be returning. The date of withdrawal shall be the earlier of the date of expiration of the leave of absence or the date the student notifies the institution that the student will not be returning; or
    • A student is expelled by the school.
    • In type b, c, d or e official cancellations or withdrawals, the official cancellation or withdrawal date shall be determined in the following manner:
      • The postmark on written notification, or the date said information is delivered to the school administrator/owner in person; or
      • The date on which the student violates published school policy, which provides for termination;
      • Should a student fail to return from an excused leave of absence, the effective date of termination for a student on an extended leave of absence or a leave of absence is the earlier of the date the school determined the student is not retuning or the day following the expected return date.
  2. Any monies due a student who unofficially withdraws for the institution shall be refunded within 30 days of a determination by the institution that the student has withdrawn without notifying the institution. To determine unofficial withdrawals, the school monitors student attendance at a minimum of once a month (every 30 days).
  3. Books and equipment are non-refundable items.
  4. All fees must be identified in the catalog and on the contract.
  5. Program Cancellation Policy: If a program or course is canceled subsequent to a student’s enrollment, and before instruction in the program or course has begun, the school shall at its option:
      • Provide a full refund of all monies paid; or
      • Provide completion of the program or course.

6. For students who enroll in and begin classes, the following schedule of tuition adjustment will be considered to meet minimum standards for refunds. The refund is calculated using the actual hours completed by the student as of the last date of recorded attendance.

  1. School Closure Policy: If a school closes permanently and ceases to offer instruction after students have enrolled, or if a program is canceled after students have enrolled and instruction has begun, the students shall receive a pro-rata refund of tuition.    
  2. The policy for granting credit for previous training shall not impact the refund policy.
  3. The cancellation charge is $100.
